Frequently asked questions

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LYNX PRIME AND LYNX TEA?

The main difference between PRIME and TEA is the amount of seeds and/or the strain of cannabis. The more seeds in the plant, the fewer other things. What does this mean? A seedless plant has a greater variety and concentration of substances, which gives it more flavour, aroma and other good qualities. If the plant starts to produce seeds instead of cannabinoids, flavonoids and terpenoids, the concentration of these substances decreases. This does not mean that LYNX TEA is a poor product - it is just that this type of cannabis is more suitable for tea, while LYNX PRIME will be a better choice for other uses. Both products complement each other perfectly and the price is better when purchased together, so we recommend to explore the benefits of both products!

CAN LYNX CANNABIS BE SMOKED?

Currently, there is no possibility to register herbal cannabis products for smoking in Lithuania (as, for instance, in Belgium), but there is also no law prohibiting smoking hemp. Although we cannot recommend smoking as it is not healthy in general, you can certainly do it.

According to the World Health Organisation, cannabis products that consist mainly of CBD and THC up to 0.2% do not pose a risk of narcotic effects or addiction .

WHAT IS THE PERCENTAGE OF CBD?

Between 2 and 15 per cent. Why so approximate? We consider that data on the specific CBD concentration in cannabis flowers is more misleading than informative, as the actual cannabinoid concentration can differ by up to several times from the declared value. However, people seem to like clarity and numbers, which is why it is very popular among manufacturers to write percentages that usually mean nothing.

LYNX cannabis has not only a high concentration of CBD, but also a broad profile of terpenes, bioactive substances and other cannabinoids (CBG, CBDV, CBC, CBN, etc.), of which there are over 100 in each plant. The concentration of these substances also varies depending on genotypes, phenotypes, agrotechnologies, climatological conditions, processing and storage methods and many other factors.

What we’re saying here is that it is not the CBD alone that creates the magic of the plant, but the variety of substances and the synergy between them. We thus advise you to just try out our products by yourself and form your own personal taste, as the specific numbers and percentages can vary even within the same plant flower.

WHAT’S THE EFFECT?

The benefits of cannabis products are highly individual. Everyone discovers them by themselves, as cannabinoid receptors are located in varying concentrations all over our bodies. It may sound banal, but there are more opinions than people, so give it a try and make up your own!

It is also important to note that according to the World Health Organisation, cannabis products that predominantly consist of CBD and have less than 0.2% THC do not pose a risk of narcotic effects or addiction. And that means that it’s even safe to drive!
